The first Toy Run was
held in December of
1978. Mrs. Lanelle Meyer
of Jack's Motorcycle shop, and a few of fellow
Motorcycle Enthusiasts decided that they wanted to help the needy children of
the Tulsa Area.
So a motorcycle run was put together, a "Toy Run" as it
later would became to be called. The first Toy Run had just seventeen riders on
motorcycles. The Riders braved the very cold and nasty weather that day of
the first Toy Run.
