MIssion

The mission of the Abate of Tulsa Toy Run, along with the U.S. Marines "Toys for Tots" Program, is to collect NEW unwrapped toys during October, November and December of each year, and help distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to the needy children in the Tulsa area and surrounding communities. The Tulsa ABATE Charitable Services Inc., and the U.S. Marines "Toys for Tots" program wishes to play an active role in the development of one of our nation's most valuable natural resources - our children; and to unite all members of the Tulsa area communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual Toys for Tots collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to building better communities in the future. The Tulsa ABATE Charitable Services Inc. conducts events designed to increase interest in the local Toys for Tots program, and to generate toy and monetary donations. The U.S. Marines Corps Toys for Tots program is a national effort administered locally, in whatever community the toys are collected is the community in which they ALL will be distributed. The success of these programs relies very heavily on volunteer support and community involvement.
